Responsibilities: Design and build a chair with meaningful connections.
This assignment provided me with a wonderful opportunity to engage in my true passion: fabrication. While the initial design phase was enjoyable, it was the challenges and intricacies encountered during the construction process that made that particular week stand out as one of the most memorable experiences of my time in graduate school.
ATLAS & AXIS
The atlas and axis support the skull, facilitate neck movement, and protect the spinal cord. They are specialized to allow a greater range of motion than normal vertebrae.
